May the Holy Spirit fill you all with his grace and strength so that you might be powerful witnesses to the love of God shown us in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Last month, we of the International Youth Ministry Team were blessed with the opportunity to spend time together with Fr. Francesco Pierpaoli, Director of Youth Ministry for the Marche Region in Italy and Director of the John Paul II Institute in Loreto. Don Francesco spoke to us of his experience of working with youth in Italy and how we, as religious, can be a part of that work.
Greetings and peace to you in the Risen Lord Jesus Christ, alleluia!
Let us continue our reflection in this Centenary year on our service to the local church, particularly in youth and vocation ministry. One area where we can be of particular service to the local church is in inspiring and encouraging young people to participate in the Eucharist on Sundays and Holy Days...and even on other occasions.
Greetings and peace to you. May our loving God fill you with his grace as we prepare to enter that holiest of all weeks, to be with Jesus in his passion and death in order to be with him forever in the risen life. May we cry out in the hope and joy of that life of resurrection: Alleluia!!
Greetings and peace in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May his faithful Guardian, our Patron and Protector, St. Joseph, protect us from all those things which could lead us away from Him who is the source of all life and love.
As mentioned in last month’s message, as a Congregation, we are reflecting on our service to the local Churches where we are living and ministering. I asked you all in that message to let me know what the local Church where you live is doing in youth ministry on a national level and how you are a part of that. Your answers will be helpful in preparing of the Third International Josephite-Marellian Youth Congress in Mexico in 2010 as we will be considering our collaboration with local Church youth and vocation programs as one of the topics of the Congress. Please have your responses to me by the end of this month.
Greetings and peace for this New Year. May it be full of God’s grace for us and for all of our youth.
This year we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Pontifical Approval of our Congregation and our Superior General has asked us to make it a year to reflect upon and improve our service to the Church. Certainly, one of the most important services we offer to the Church as a religious Congregation is being faithful to our vows and community life. However, we are being asked to particularly consider the ministry, apostolate, which we offer to the Church.
